Bento #193

Home made pork dumplings, grapes, carrot sticks, raisins, marshmallow frog prince and lite ranch dip in the Hello Kitty container.

Maisie loves dumplings and loved this bento finishing every last drop!

Why bento?

Maisie used to be an extremely picky eater and three to five days a week I had to pack a lunch for her to take to camp or school. Because she was so picky, I starting packing bentos in an attempt to make her lunches more interesting, appetizing and hopefully more appealing while providing food that was healthy for her along with being something she wanted to and would eat. She's now a much better and far less picky eater but she loves her bentos and they make her feel special and loved so I continue to make them for her.
