Bento #58

Homemade baked mac & cheese, broccoli with ranch dressing dip, Bombolin cookie dried fruit & nuts, grape fruity pudding.

A few nuts and a tiny amount of the mac & cheese went uneaten.

Why bento?

Maisie used to be an extremely picky eater and three to five days a week I had to pack a lunch for her to take to camp or school. Because she was so picky, I starting packing bentos in an attempt to make her lunches more interesting, appetizing and hopefully more appealing while providing food that was healthy for her along with being something she wanted to and would eat. She's now a much better and far less picky eater but she loves her bentos and they make her feel special and loved so I continue to make them for her.
